In and around the Local

Sisters and Brothers;

On October 24th a few members of the Executive Board dressed up in pink and walked around collecting donations for Breast Cancer Awareness.  Thanks to your generosity we collected $1,123.00.  If you donated a minimum of $20 and provided your mailing address a receipt will be sent from the Breast Cancer Society.

Thank you all for your support!

A few Brother’s from our leadership are participating in Movember, helping to raise awareness for prostate cancer.  They have joined the Dehavilland Dirty Lips team.  This is their 4th year doing this and have raised almost $15,000 for men’s health issues in that time. They’re already up to over $2,000 this year which is amazing, and are hoping to at least hit $5000 for this year’s campaign if possible.

Should you wish to donate to this great cause please click on the link below.  You can donate to individuals or to the team.
